Imperial Food Limited was awarded ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and GMP

Mr Wallace Yan, the Chief Financial Officer of Imperial Food Limited, received the ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and GMP certifications from Mr Enoch Lee, the General Manager of BSI HK on 3 April 2019.

Imperial Food Limited (“Imperial”) is the first company in Hong Kong in achieving ISO 22000:2018 for its food safety management systems. The new version of ISO 20000 emphasizes risk-based thinking and uses a high-level structure to integrate food safety management systems with other ISO management systems. Mr Lee commented that due to the world's population grows, agricultural production is intensive and industrialized to meet increasing food demand, which poses new challenges for food safety. Achieving the certifications show that the food safety management systems of Imperial complies with the international standards.

Mr Enoch Lee (right 2) presented certificates to Mr Wallace Yan (right 3) and the representatives of Imperial Food Limited.
